Ms. Jones requested a loan modification from her servicer because the mortgage payments had become unaffordable.  She was eventually granted a trial modification, and made all of her trial payments.  The servicer failed to convert the trial modification to a permanent modification and proceeded to foreclosure.  We represented Ms. Jones and obtained a modification agrement with affordable payments and a significant principal reduction.
